Our Mission Statement.

Provide a carbon neutral vacation opportunity to our travellers and guests...

 To assist in the mitigation of green house gas emissions produced during your motor holiday and air journey to New Zealand.  We have established a 500 hectare, Carbon Sink Forest, on formerly farmed land within the Catlins Coastal Forest Park estate.

Additionally, with our Carbon Neutral goal in mind, the majority of our McLean Falls Holiday Park and Motel, buildings have been recycled and restored with loving care.  With these accommodation choices, you will experience a whimsical example of Kiwiana history.  This purpose built, oasis in the heart of the Catlins, provides your ideal base camp from which to explore the hidden secrets of this  'must see,'  56,000 hectare, Catlins Coastal Rainforest Park. 

Our, centrally located, on-site,  Whistling Frog Cafe & Bar,  provides you with a relaxing refreshment option, while staying with us or travelling through the Catlins.
